Prior to joining China Merchants Securities, Ray was the portfolio manager in China Merchants International (HK.144) with specific focus on international investing activities. Prior to that, Ray held several key positions in China Merchants Group since 1995.

Ray has rich experiences in Hong Kong / China capital market and is in-depth understandings of cross-border M&A activities. He has finished more than 20 transactions in last two years.

Ray holds a Bachelor Degree in Commerce and a Master Degree in Management from the University of Wollongong, Australia. He is currently a PhD Candidate of Jiangxi Finance and Economic University, majoring in Political Economics.

Prior to founding JMP, Carter served as a Managing Director in the financial services group at Montgomery Securities, now Banc of America Securities, from 1996 to 1999. Carter previously spent five years in the investment banking group at Merrill Lynch focused on financial institutions. During his career, he has advised specialty finance companies, financial technology companies, depository institutions and other financial intermediaries on corporate finance and mergers and acquisitions transactions totaling more than $20 billion in value.

Carter holds an MBA from the UCLA Anderson School of Management and a BA from the University of California, Berkeley.

Prior to joining JMP China practice, Jing was a General Partner of Strategic Capital Group. Previously Jing was a vice president at Merrill Lynch private bank, and was a leading member of ML’s China-US investment banking team from 1999-2005. Before coming to US, Jing was a member of China Science & Technology Association in Beijing.

Jing has 13 years of China Central government and 20 years of US Finance Experiences. She has advised 46 China companies in crossing (China-US) M&A, Private placement, Restructuring, and IPO transactions totaling more than $5 billion in value.

Prior to joining JMP, Breaux was a partner at America's Growth Capital, where he concentrated on the China market with specific emphasis on the Internet, software, communications and information security sectors. Previously, he founded and ran Daintree Partners, a technology-focused advisory firm serving U.S. and China clientele. Breaux has also held senior corporate development positions at Vytek Wireless, Mobilesys and USWeb, where he was a member of an M&A team that completed more than 50 transactions.

Breaux formerly lived in Shanghai for five years, during which time he founded and served as a managing director of CBVCOM, an Internet engineering and software development company that served Chinese and multinational corporations. He began his finance career at Merrill Lynch, working in the firm's debt capital markets group.

Breaux holds a BA from Wesleyan University and is fluent in Mandarin Chinese.
